Thailand’s Korean Cultural Center is set to host the Korean War Memorial Concert 2024 by the R.O.K Navy Symphonic band on November 26th at the KBANK Siam PIC Ganesha Theatre co-hosted by the Patriotic Cultural Association.
The Patriotic Cultural Association hosts the annual Korean War Memorial Concert and supports activities of the National Military Symphony Orchestra in Korea, inviting around 1,000 audiences which include Korean War Veterans and their families as well as Thai government officials, diplomat corps as well as cultural and art personnel.
The R.O.K Navy Symphonic band consists of 49 bandsmen and will play a variety of music genres including traditional Korean music, Pop, and martial music that includes the song ‘Memories of Korean War’.
The band will also perform Navy Blue Sticks, which is a popular percussion performance from the Navy band.
“Korea and Korean people never forget the sacrifice of Thai Korean war veterans. As Thailand takes the role of Country Coordinator between Korea and ASEAN, it is so meaningful to host the Korean War Memorial Concert in Thailand in commemoration of ASEAN-ROK Day, with foreign ministry officials from both countries and diplomatic corps” Park Yongmin, the Ambassador of the Republic of Korea said.
